Data Protection & GDPR

Everything you need to know about NES Health's data protection policies

On 25 May 2018, the most significant piece of European data protection legislation to be introduced in 20 years came into force. The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) replaced the 1995 EU Data Protection Directive. The GDPR strengthens the rights that individuals have regarding personal data relating to them and seeks to unify data protection laws across Europe, regardless of where that data is processed.

NES Health is committed to fulfilling all the requirements of the new legislation which has strict policies on how your data is managed.

The GDPR sets out the following data rights applicable to our customers and their clients:

  • The right to be informed
  • The right of access
  • The right to rectification
  • The right to erasure (also known as the 'right to be forgotten')
  • The right to restrict processing
  • The right to data portability
  • The right to object
